Streamlining Your Schedule

A little bit about the developer:

Well, first off, I'm going to stop referring to myself as "The developer". I don't really like referring to myself in third person.

My name is Phillip Hayward. I'm not a software developer by profession - as a matter of fact, I'm a undergraduate student at Boise State University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Writing software is more of a hobby for me than anything else. I'm entirely self taught. Thanks to the internet, it's possible to be a self-taught programmer, but it takes time. Every time I want to do something new, or run into some new problem, I go digging for information on how to make it work. It's pretty rewarding to me to work on a problem for a day or two, then finally get it working. Of course, it's even better to work on it for an hour or two and get it working.

I've worked on a number of different little projects, many of which have since outlived their usefulness or my interest. You can see the current ones over at my other website, http://pjhayward.net/. I've got a virtual file manager, a windows remake of an old DOS game, a photo contact sheet builder, and a couple other little utilities out there right now. I've also got an icon file unit that other Delphi developers can use to save bitmap files as icons. My interests usually run along the lines of photography, software development, and digital video. I still haven't really jumped into that last one, but I'd like to, eventually.
